Description

Being used for absolutely destroying every game I play. I will finally be able to NewGame+ the Witcher 3 in all its glory. Everything honestly worked perfectly fine in terms of installation. Feel free to ask me any questions about the build!

Any reason your CPU fan is plugged into the SYS_FAN header and not CPU_FAN?

Very nice. Just curious, what is the actual power draw at the wall when it's busy?

Thanks :) how do I go about measuring that?

You need something like a kill-a-watt

Thanks so much :) it’s actually my iPhone X that I used. Some of the pictures were taken portrait mode.

Thanks! I was actually thinking of getting some cable extensions. I will be doing a proper cleanup of the back panel and all the cable management soon :)

How is that memory treating you? Also, were you able to get any type of overclock/high turbo out of that video card, as I'm sure you know it is reverse binned.

RAM is treating me very well! I haven’t overclocked the card just yet. I am thinking of doing it soon though.

I meant that my last build that I had 5 years ago was a “budget build”. Didn’t spend more than 600 on everything. This one I went all in and built what I wanted to get!

Sweet build! I also have the B450 Tomahawk. How long does POST take for you? (i.e. the time from power button to arsenal gaming logo) It takes about 15 sec for me. Im not sure whether that is normal or too long?

This is awesome, very similar to the build I just finished over the weekend. It's such a powerful beast. I like that you didn't go full RGB disco lights.

Some coloured sleeved cables would look awesome on the VGA and Mobo cables :)

Hey, sweet build bro.

Looking to run a very similar setup to this with the 1080 and 2600x, how is the motherboard working for you a couple of months down the line? I hear the VRM on these B450 MSI boards are among the best, wanted to see what your experience was if possible.

Have you overclocked at all?

Cheers!

Working perfectly fine as far as I'm concerned :D Don't need to overclock the 2600x, it does it all for you!

I'm going to build pretty mutch the same "type" of pc with the same price point. So i can only +1 this build ! I'm pretty mutch sure mine will be better because it has RGB :p

Haha thanks! I personally opted out of RGB. As my computer is sitting on the desk next to me, I didn’t want to get blinded. However I did at least add an RGB strip :)
