I built this for my late night gaming and school use with coding software. I chose the 6 core processor after having a wonderful 5 years with my i7-3700 in a laptop and this new i7-8700 has shown to be a beast with the benchmarks I've seen. With the applications I run I didn't need more then 16gb of RAM and i think the G.Skill Trident Z has a sharp look to it and the price I couldn't pass up for DDR4-3000. The MSI Gaming X has stolen my heart with the aesthetics and from the quality of the product that I had read about I had to try it out. This is a first build for me and I couldn't be happier with the hardware I have put into it. The 1070 is more then enough of a graphics card for me after having an NVIDIA GeForce 650M in my laptop and it running my games super smooth. I have a VIVO dual monitor mount that I mounted to my desk for extra security and those samsung 24" curved monitors were on sale at bestbuy so I snatched them up.

That is one expensive GPU for a 1070

How do you like those monitors. I was thinking about doing a similar setup.

Was you freaking out when it actually worked? I'll never forget that feeling...do you recommend those monitors.?

It's a shame they're only 60hz monitors though. Your setup is capable of a lot more than that!

Thank you and I know, when I get more cash I will get some badass monitors for sure
