Description

This is an upside-down/inverted case where the motherboard is hanging from the case’s ceiling. There's nothing on the case's floor but dark black glass which reflects all the components above.

I was inspired by reflections in RTX technology and thought it'd be cool to build a rig that reflected light. It was quite a challenge to fit all the listed components in while maintaining clean aesthetics. The cables, radiator and power supply are all in the top chamber. All the components hang from the motherboard upside-down fixed securely by reinforcement to the case.

There is plenty of airflow with four intake fans and one exhaust plus the 2x120mm GamerStorm radiator/fans combo. I currently have the 9900K overclocked to 5ghz (all cores) with sustained max temps at max 80deg with ambient of 24deg Celsius.

There's also tons of storage with seven drives! Plus still another x4 PCIe slot to use.

Overall very happy with the outcome, hope you like it too.

Nice build and photography! I love the glass design that allows the light to bounce around.

What will the build be used for?

Mostly photo editing and light gaming. Many new photography software use multi-cores and the graphics card so wanted to maximise my efficiency time wise with a fast rig. Thanks for the comment!

You are welcome!

That's what I'm gearing my next build on - photography, video, graphic design and programming/scripting.

I think that's the first time I've ever seen someone use volumetric lighting to showcase their rig and I love it. Is it just a regular old fog machine that you used?

Thanks bro. Na, it was all just effects using Photoshop. Really like your Vaporwave Dream rig as well. Nice colour tones!

Wow I will setup mine as a finished build, and you will notice we used the same parts almost. I built mine in April.
