Is my 850 W PSU good enough for my 3960X?

Hello all,

I was wondering if my 3 year old EVGA SuperNOVA G2 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular is good enough for my 3960X build?

I do not intend to overclock the CPU at all and my focus is 3D modeling and rendering, that is why I will use my old GTX 1080 which still works good enough.

Here is my new rig https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Samsam2019/saved/#view=vTDrVn

Thank you all and Merry Christmas!

The 3rd gen threadripper is getting better for gaming, and an 850W PSU may be enough, unless you're making a NVLink with 2 RTX 2080Ti's.

build uses 613W, so should be good enough for now.

Here are some charts about the total system power consumption of an Threadripper 3960X and Threadripper 3970X build with the following setup.
