I baught a CPU cooler that only covers FM3+ and other LGA types but I didn't relise that my CPU and motherboard were FM2 and I've wasted $30 on a CPU cooler that I'm not gonna use unless someone can teach me how I can turn it into a FM2. I have the stock fan if I have to which I'd rather not use Please someone help me

Dont worry it will work with your FM2, all AMD connect the same way.

It's just that the nail holes don't line up

If they dont line up try modifiying the bracked that should do the trick.

Its not the bracket it's the plate underneath, do I need the plate underneath?

Some coolers mount to the stock AMD bracket and some require you to use the bracket that comes with it. What type of cooler is it exactly?
