Nice design and well built(Buildzoid breaks down the PCB and it looks solid), plenty of RGB zones but the orange accents can bother some. The backplate obstructed the motherboard from seating and aligning with my ATX mid tower case, I had to remove the backplate in order to screw in the motherboard. The Wi-Fi and ethernet network connections both work great. The power button and CMOS reset button in the back aren't easily pressed and don't feel flimsy.

The bios design could be better but it functions well and has many features. I updated to the latest bios on first time boot with no issues. Also enabled XMP profile 1 to clock my memory at 3200mhz and stock auto PBO with no issues. A lot of Gigabyte motherboard owners on Reddit have commented that they're known to have a corrupted bios easily, I updated to the latest bios upon first boot with no issues. There's a dual bios switch as well if there are any issues. I researched brands' recent bios support and performance before settling on Gigabyte. Asrock, MSI, and Gigabyte are the brands that have updated their top X470 boards to a bios with AGESA 1.0.0.4.

The app center for RGB fusion is straightfoward and simple with multiple custom profiles, although there is one motherboard LED bug that can be frustrating but can be completely ignored. When the computer is forced shut down manually with the power button, the motherboard LED lights stay on even if you have set the lights(through RGB fusion and bios) to turn off when computer is powered off. After the computer is powered off, you can switch your power supply on and off to turn off these lights manually. Or you can just shut down your computer through Windows and the lights will automatically turn off when powered off.

There is one more bug that has affected users of this motherboard but I still chose to buy this motherboard because I don't believe I will be affected. Randomly during booting up, any audio device connected to the front audio port will have a low volume audio bug that can only be corrected by restarting the computer. I asked other users if this affects audio through HDMI, I was told no and so far I haven't experienced any audio issues.

Gigabyte has been a top motherboard provider for years despite its X370 and B350 issues, this motherboard delivers and I'm hoping that it'll last for as long as the sockets are still supported.

from completed build Constance - Ryzen rebuild

Got this based on solid reviews of the power delivery and the real finned heatsink design. No real issues but the BIOS could use some work to make finding settings a bit easier.

This motherboard is a steal for the price I got it for. I am not all crazy about all the RGB effects, but RGB Fusion sucks and App Center does too, so if you care about that, don't get this motherboard.
