In my current situation, ethernet is unavailable, and I don't even want to attempt ethernet over powerline since the house is a bit on the older side (1930's). However, we have a router capable of high throughput on the 5 GHz side. Went with this option over the more expensive as I wouldn't even be able to take advantage of the more expensive one. Haven't experienced any drops or anything of that nature thus far, and being able to attach the antennas via magnet to the case is nice.

My brother can not have ethernet where he lives, so we needed a WiFi card for him. It works great.

from completed build Burta... the not $1100 build

I probably could have saved money on a wireless card, but I totally bought this because it looked awesome and reviews were mostly positive... I like to pretend that it was the reviews that influenced me.

I was told i could get a WIFI card for half the price and have it do the same thing. But for some reason i was just drawn to this one. The color. The antenna base that came with it. I'm glad i spent the money to get it.

One of the few that had a magnetic, free standing antenna. Handles both 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz and max speed ratings exceed what is currently available in my area by a bunch.

Looks great, performs great, especially with the external antennae. No complaints.

Since I don't have an Ethernet cable running through my basement and into my office, I was forced to go with a wireless solution. I'm quite satisfied with this product. I'm able to get pretty good speeds, and the design goes well with the rest of my PC.

Doesn't have that great range, but works great.
