  • Beautiful and vibrant IPS Panel

  • Buttery smooth 144Hz

  • 1440p WQHD Resolution

  • G-Sync makes gaming an outstanding experience

  • High price tag, but for what the monitor offers compared to the competition it's well justified

  • Slight light bleed in 2 corners, but really isn't too visible unless in a very specific situation (dark room, high brightness setting, black screen) a small con due to the nature of IPS

I held off upgrading my monitor for way too long, essentially skipping 1080p and going straight to 1440p from a 1680x1050, 60Hz, TN monitor. What a world of difference. I held out for this long as I wanted 1440p + IPS + 144Hz + G-Sync and once I heard this monitor was announced I knew I had to jump on the opportunity.

I had mine replaced through Amazon because of a dead pixel and many which had issues and a ton of backlight bleed, so this is for #2.

Significantly less backlight bleed, but still some in bottom right corner. Not very noticeable unless black screen and I really focus on it. Before i could notice colors were off on any solid color (even non-solid desktop background).

Gap beneath hardware buttons allows the power LED to shine through. Gap is large enough that at many angles I can actually see the LED itself. This could be disabled in a firmware update to just disable it though.

Gaming experience, movies and regular PC use has been fantastic.

It's almost perfect, IPS (great color) check, G-sync check, 1440p check, 144hz check, all with a relatively good response time (roughly 4ms). Setup was pretty easy as I following the TFT settings, my display port cable is actually fully functioning, and the stand was easy to install. Hey and guess what, it performs beautifully, G-sync provides some beautifully smooth gameplay and the color is phenomenal. Now, the downside: QUALITY CONTROL, I think mine was part of the first run so there were some issues e.g. dead pixels and ips light bleed. It's very playable and still looks quite brilliant but can't wait to get my replacement, hopefully it'll actually be perfect :)

There's a reason this monitor is winding up on everyone's Best Gaming Monitor list. 144hz, 1440p, IPS, 4 ms response time, and GSYNC. Gsync is incredible and SLI 980ti is perfect for the 1440p 144hz configuration. I went from a 1ms response time to this 4ms and I haven't noticed the difference. Quality of the IPS panel is amazing but it is also my first IPS that I've owned.

like it a lot. coming from 60Hz 1080 monitor..its blast. i had to return the first one as it was damaged on arrival. i did not even bother to try it. so it was not return because of dead pixel or light bleed. i noticed that there is some glow in bottom right corner, but nothing drasticall and also after i set up led lighting behind the monitor its almost gone. 4stars for the tiny bleed issue. but it might be the IPS glow, hard to say for me as i do not have another monitor in that range to compare. i got it cheap so i am not gonna return it because of it. if something change i will update.

The monitor itself is probably one of the best out there. You cannot beat IPS 144hz and g-sync. The only reason the monitor can't be recommended is the QC issues. It had horrible QC issues that a $700 monitor shouldn't have. I got 2 dead pixels in the middle third which wasn't worth the hassle of the return but still annoying.

I’ve had this monitor for just under two years. Once you go 144Hz you never, ever want to go back. This thing is a dream.

I've I had reviewed this when I first got it, it would have gotten a two stars max. Playing games it has a beautiful picture with stunning colors but doing anything else, especially with a white background (so most websites) it would flicker horribly. To the point I was ready to return the thing. Luckily an update came out the week I decided to send it back and I've had zero issues since.

1440p, IPS, low lag. Great viewing angles, great colours. The only thing that I don't like is the gloss but that can be fixed with a mount.
