Be curious why the OP went with that much ram . Its a lot of money for memory
A tale as old as time
But seriously don't let people discourage you from Ryzen. AMD has really brought a great CPU to the market. I'm loving my 1600x atm
Since you're primarily gaming you'll do better with the 7700k for the core speed (extra cores in the Ryzen won't bring much to the table for your needs)
Nice setup which you can upgrade from later . +1 dude
All your games are linked to your account. You can create an account and buy anything you want.
After you've built your rig all you have to is ;
- download steam
-log into your account
-download the games you've purchased.
p.s. you can download beforehand and then back them up to an external hard drive (steam tab /backup) Happy Gaming !
Nice overclock dude. Lovin my ryzen 1600x and its price&performance. AMDs unlocked CPU range really encourages enthusiasts to milk the hell out of the cores (which you've done well) . A+
Nice build .Are they the fan cables going across the mobo ? Use the cable holes at the top of the case and route it behind.
Not using the stock cooler ? Could of saved some cash
What a beast first build . Good job!
So from the pics did you go from an air cooler to a custom water loop and then a AIO ? As the previous comment asked what kind of things are you using the build for ?
Nice build in the end though .
Looks like a nice build (literally) :P . Pics of the interior ?
Nice first build! You should provide more pictures of your overall setup. I would buy a 144hz monitor next to really get the most out of your GPU.
Think they should of really pushed for the 60fps on a shooter. 4k on a FPS is great if you can push 60 or more frames imo. Doubt the Scorpio will exceed the 30fps cap due to the risk of outshining exclusive Sony.
Elephant in the room for me is the lack of dedicated servers. For a 2017 AAA title that is a money grabbing joke
Still trying to fill the void in my life after I completed the game .
Nice build dude . I have one similar. AMD is back baby !!
10/10 for the in-depth part reviews.
Simple yet elegant
Good choice on the game . You can now see a highly rendered 'You Died' screen ;)
But seriously nice build dude lol
So is this your first build? You said you originally bought this certain mobo, cpu and cooler and then you changed it heavily. An upgrade from a first build ?
Excellent build fellow 1600x builder . That red light on my mobo is pissing me off as well lol
Nice build . You're ready for 4k minecraft
I'm a simple man . I see Star Wars, I like
Nice build and Parts! Just need to fix the cable management. Looks like a dog's dinner below the gpu
Very nice build well done ! Bit of a pricey CPU cooler for a budget build ?
Same mobo and I had problems with my corsair 3200 . Even after tweaking I still can't get it to its intended speed (2900 atm) . Hopefully the bios updates can fix this issue
I find it surprisingly cool even when gaming (below 60) . To be fair I'm not exactly pushing the system to its potential on a 60hz monitor.
Nice build ! Wish I was building PCs at your age.
Nice build! Love the combination of NZXT cooler and case A+ . In response to your CAM software not working try putting it into another mobo USB slot, update drivers, reinstall software etc
Nice budget build with the Ryzen. If you dont need a serious gaming pc you did it right with the CPU and high speed ram.
Interesting keyboard and mouse as well .
Your cables look edible . A+
Love these minimalist builds! You crammed so much power in this while keeping great temps A+
My only complaint is that you have no ice cube tray in the case. You got to effectively use all that cooling
Sweet build ! Nice alternative fan placement on the radiator.
Did you think of getting the ryzen cpu for your workload? The 7700k will smash most tasks you give it I'm just curious.
Thanks man ! And it should only get more optimised in the future.
It is a Steelseries Apex 300 :)
Sweet PC dude A++
White pc builds always remind me of the planet Hoth from Star Wars for some reason . I have no idea why lol
Thanks man! I'll look into the exterior management.
Hey man I chose this mobo due to favourable reviews and the higher memory speed (articles have mentioned the performance benefit of faster ram memory with ryzen).
Yes it has a red LED strip on the left hand side and some back lighting.
Haven't listen to blessthefall since high school haha. To hell and back was a dope song ;)
I ended up putting it at the rear of the case after originally having it at the front. I left the picture in there to possibly brainstorm which placement you think would be most beneficial.
Thank you, I'm loving pc gaming !
